What’s her deal?

With over a decade of production under her vintage Gucci (albeit second-hand) belt, Ashtyn has always exhibited an appetite for learning new skills.

Producing, shooting, editing, motion graphics — you name it, she’s done it. Is it weird that she’s talking in the third person, btw? She read you’re supposed to do that in these bios, but it feels very off-putting.

Anyways, her passions include fashion, sports, animal activism, yoga, and travel.

How’d she get here?

Ashtyn’s creative journey began in college when she worked for Oregon State Football as a highlight shooter and editor. That led her to a gig at Pac-12 Networks in San Francisco, where she was a video editor turned writer/producer. Later on, she was the first hire at a sports media company catering to female fans—The Relish—where she oversaw the creative team. Shortly after that, she headed to Denver and worked at a social media-based agency. She founded an art + basketball magazine (which grew to be a podcast, newsletter, creative agency, and more) and bounced from Portland to NYC, where she resides now. There, she continues her work on the magazine while also copywriting on a project for Google.

Ok, no more third person for the rest of my life!
